Leigh Duncan Solicitors was proud to take part in this year’s Business Connexions charity golf day in support of Wycombe Homeless Connection.
Held last Friday in temperatures well above 30°C, the event brought together members of the local business community for a day of golf, fundraising and networking, all in aid of a charity that provides vital support to people experiencing homelessness across Buckinghamshire.
Representing Leigh Duncan Solicitors were Partner Janine Heil, alongside Nick Bridger of Oakfield Surveyors, Josh Godfrey of Oakwood Estates (who was a last minute substitution for Dan Gifford of Bovingdons Estate Agents), and Gavin Croxford of The Search Bureau.
As a long-standing member of the Business Connexions network, we’re proud to support Wycombe Homeless Connection and the important work they do, from providing emergency accommodation and practical support through to helping people rebuild their lives.
A substantial amount was raised during the event, with the final fundraising total due to be announced shortly. We’d like to thank everyone who organised, sponsored and took part in making the day such a success.
Despite the heat, it was a fantastic event and another great example of local businesses coming together to support an important local cause.
We’re also pleased to report that Janine’s pre-tournament golf lessons appear to have been time well spent, although we’ll leave the final verdict to her.
