The costs of administering an Estate
The latest edition of the Beaconsfield Local magazine is now out and this time our article focuses on the cost of administering an estate.
When someone dies, their estate is administered by their appointed Executors (if they had a Will) or personal representatives (if there was no Will) but do they always have to obtain a Grant of Representation?
We look at this, and the different ways in which assets may pass to another person, as well as touching upon the work of the Probate Registry and the recent Government consultation paper proposing increases in fees.
You can read an electronic version of the magazine here and our article is on page 31.
As always, we are making regular contributions to Beaconsfield Local magazine, so be sure to check out future issues every two months. The magazine has gone from strength to strength and helps residents in Beaconsfield and surrounding areas including Forty Green, Knotty Green and Seer Green find local businesses, events, community information and community activities. Its aim is to deliver all the local information you might need, at your fingertips.
