Welcome back to our Work Experience student
For her second school year in a row, we are delighted to welcome back Natasha, a student from Beaconsfield High School, for her to continue work experience with us once a week during term times. We have been very impressed with her and she has become a valued member of the team.
Hosting a student for work experience allows us to benefit from giving back to the community and supporting a bright, keen and polite young adult decide what career path might ultimately be best for them. It also assists schools and their students achieve vital targets in the transition from school to workplace.
Studies have placed as high as 80% the proportion of employers who think work experience in prospective candidates is essential. A work placement provides the opportunity for students to develop key employability skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, communication and time-management that graduate recruiters look for.
Good luck to all taking their first steps in a workplace environment this term!
